Sons Live with Urgency

I hear the stables of heaven stirring.

Hooves pawing. Riders waiting. The age of the church as we know it is coming to a close.

This is not the time to sleep.

This is not the time to coast.

A son of the Father lives with urgency.

The Days We’re Living In

Look around.

The world is unraveling faster than we can process.

Truth is mocked. Masculinity is despised. Faith is ridiculed.

But the darker the day, the brighter the call.

Scripture warns us: “The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12)

The days of passive, casual faith are over. Sons cannot afford to live distracted, numb, or lulled to sleep by comfort.

What Urgency Looks Like for a Son

Urgency doesn’t mean panic. It doesn’t mean reckless busyness.

It means living ready. Clear-eyed. Strong-hearted.

In holiness: A son doesn’t flirt with sin. He knows time is short, and compromise steals his strength.

In mission: A son doesn’t waste his gifts on trivial pursuits. He invests his energy where it multiplies for eternity.

In courage: A son doesn’t shrink back. He stands, even when the world shakes.

Urgency means living today as if the King could ride out at any moment. Because He could.

The Warning

Jesus told us plainly: “You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (Luke 12:40)

The question is not whether He will return.

The question is whether you will be ready.

The Call

Men: the time for half-hearted faith is over.

Your sonship demands urgency. Not tomorrow. Not someday. Now.

Wake up. Lead boldly. Love fiercely. Stand firm.

Your Father has called you into this moment in history for a reason.

The stables of heaven are stirring.

Live like you believe it.
