He’s the man who’s been performing his whole life
- trying to earn approval but never feeling enough. He’s successful on paper but restless in soul. He’s battled addiction, anger, or isolation. Maybe he’s the provider, the protector — but he doesn’t know peace. He resists intimacy, avoids vulnerability, and keeps people at a distance. He’s never heard his father say, “I’m proud of you,” or he did — and still didn’t believe it.

This man doesn’t know he’s a son. Not really. He lives like an orphan—hustling, hiding, striving. He’s a believer in Christ, but he hasn’t yet understood: Jesus didn’t just come to save him — He came to take him to the Father. He’s in church but feels like a stranger. He’s a leader, but deep down he’s unsure, tired, and alone.
What’s missing isn’t strength — it’s sonship. And until he knows he’s loved without condition, accepted without performance, and called with purpose, he’ll keep running. But sonship calls him home. It’s time. It’s never too late to be a son.
