What is next? Did I make the right decision? Will the right opportunity come? What if it takes longer than I expected? What am I supposed to be doing right now? Why do I feel so off when I know so many things are still good?

Like many men, I believed that if I worked hard enough, led well enough, provided enough, and accomplished enough, I would eventually become the man I was supposed to be. Mostly, I wasn't chasing selfish things. I wanted to be a good husband, a good father, a good leader, and a faithful Christian.

What Was He Trying to Show Us? God could have revealed Himself to humanity in countless ways. He could have come as a conqueror. A philosopher. A distant ruler. A consuming fire. A voice from the heavens that never drew near. But when God stepped into human history, He chose to reveal Himself through a Son.
