Charlie Kirk: When Bold Voices Fall Silent

News hit me hard today: Charlie Kirk has been shot and killed.

I felt a flood of emotions at once:

Anger — that a life could be taken this way.

Grief — for his family, his friends, his voice.

Challenge — because he lived with a boldness I can’t ignore.

A Man Who Went All In

Charlie didn’t tiptoe around opinions.

He didn’t waste time trying to say the “right” thing.

He went all in.

Agree or disagree with him, you couldn’t deny his conviction.

He didn’t seem shackled by fear of what others might think. He wasn’t imprisoned by the need for approval.

He showed us something rare: what it looks like to live unfiltered and unafraid.

Anger and Heartbreak

I’m angry. I’m heartbroken.

Angry that this kind of voice was silenced.

Heartbroken because the church, the culture, and our country need men who speak truth with conviction.

But more than that—I’m challenged.

Because when bold voices fall silent, the question isn’t just “Why him?”

The question is: “Will I step up?”

The Challenge to Men

Men—where are the fathers?

Where are the sons who will stand in truth?

Where are the men who will spend their lives on something that matters more than safety, applause, or approval?

We don’t need more silence. We don’t need more compromise.

We need men who will live as sons of the Father, speak truth with conviction, and refuse to bow to fear.

The Final Reminder

One day, you will stand before the God of Heaven and Earth.

You will either be found as His son or as His enemy.

Woe to you if you are His enemy.

But if you are His son, you will give an account for how and what you did with this short time on earth.

So take this moment seriously.

Commit to be His son by believing in His Son, Jesus Christ.

And then purpose to make the most of Jesus with the way you live your life.
